Prime AV didn't start as a full-service production company. It started with one person who understood sound and a handful of small venues who needed someone to make it sound right. Everything since has been built on that same idea: get the technical details right, and the event takes care of itself.

Our Story
We started in 2010 doing live sound for small local venues. As word spread and the events got bigger, we grew into full concert and event production, then into the corporate, government, and political work that makes up a large share of what we do today. The equipment and the client list have both changed a lot since then. The reason people call us hasn't.
Who We Serve
Our client list runs wider than most production companies: corporate meetings and conferences, political campaigns and government agencies, concerts and festivals, weddings and private celebrations, and the venues that host all of it. That range isn't an accident. It means our team has seen almost every kind of technical and logistical problem an event can throw at us, and we bring that experience into every new project.
Our Team
Prime AV is run by people who came up through the industry, not around it. Our leadership includes decades of combined experience across AV engineering, corporate and government sales, and event design, backed by a crew of sound, lighting, and video technicians who work these events week in and week out. When you call us, you're talking to people who've actually run the show, not just sold it.
Our Equipment & Capabilities
We keep sound, lighting, video, staging, and fabrication capabilities in-house rather than brokering them through third parties. That means the gear on your event is ours, maintained by us, and backed by a team that knows it inside and out, not a rental we're subcontracting the week of your show.

We're headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, in the greater Washington, D.C. metro area, with a second office in Troy, Michigan serving the Detroit metro area. That gives us deep roots in two regions, plus the ability to travel wherever a project takes us.
